That much essential oil won’t irritate my skin? I have very sensitive skin. 🙂
You can reduce the essential oils by adding the drops slowly, one at a time until you reach your desired fragrance level.
Lavender is one of the better essential oils to use if you are sensitive 🙂
Have you tried Rose Hip Oil for your skin sensitivity?
so the essential oils is mostly for fragrance? 🙂 I have been using Sukin rose hip oil for a week or two and so far I’m really pleased with the results. Do you have any advice on how to store it?
That’s right – mostly for fragrance 🙂
That’s great! The best way to store rose hip oil is away from heat, light and air. Cool, dark bathroom cupboard is fine or a fridge if your home is over 30 degrees!
Usually bathroom cupboard works well. Just make sure you do the lid up tight every time – I’ve been stung in the past! You either knock it over and lose the oil or it oxidises too quickly.
Hope this helps! 🙂
Okay, that makes sense. Thanks. 🙂 one more thing, how do you know if it’s oxidized? does the smell change, the color?
The smell & the colour. The smell will be rancid and fish oily. Plus the colour will be lighter, almost clear and start to turn white and crusty around the edges.
Trust me, you’ll know! 🙂
Thanks for the information! 🙂
